TRIP TO THENDURGAM GRADE V (28-2-25)
Students of grade V visited Thendurgam a nearby hillock to observe the rocks. They climbed the rocks, recorded their observations about the surroundings, and presented the same to their classmates.
TRIP TO KUNDAPURA (18-2-25 TO 21-2-25)
Students of grade VII visited Kundapura a biodiversity hub on the western coast. They studied a river trail, walked through the rainforest, and carried out beach combing activities. Mangrove forests were yet another marvel of nature that they witnessed. Astudy of the landform, soil, vegetation, and the life of local peopleled to deep discussions and a better understanding of the inter dependence of species.
TURTLE WALK (9-2-25)
A group of students from grades IX & XI accompanied by five teacherstook up a turtle walk along the coast of Chennai. The idea was towitness the migratory patterns of Olive Ridley Turtles and observetheir nests. They saw two turtle nests with eggs but also came across25 dead turtles and several dead puffer fish. TRIP TO MELKOTE
Grade VI embarked upon their maiden three-day study trip (6.2.25 - 8.2.25) to Melkotewhere they trekked through the scrub forest, climbed rocks, looked at the rock formations in the region and engaged in deep discussionsabout the ecosystem. During the three days spent in close proximitywith nature they also enjoyed activities like watching the majesticsunrise and listening to bird calls in the wild at day break.
A FUN DAY AT RAMANASHRAYA
CDP - Grade VII - 1.2.25 Students of grade VII engaged with the residents of Ramanashray throughmusic and games. At the end of the day, the elderly residents wereoverjoyed with the interactions and the variety of entertaining activities.
RIVERSIDE CLEANUP (1-2-25)
Students of Grade V joined handswith representatives from KANS -Kenneth Anderson Nature Societyto clean up a patch of thePerandapalli forest. It was a firsthand experience through whichthey understood how humanactivity leads to degradation ofthe environment.
SKY WATCH
Students of Grade V & VI (22-1-2025) participated in the night sky watch organized at school. The resource persons from the Hosur Astronomy Club took the students through several engaging activities that helped them understand certain astronomical phenomena including the Parade of Planets. Later they scanned the sky with a high resolution telescope to watch the planets and stars closely.
FARMERS DAY CELEBRATION (11-1-25)
Students of the Junior School hosted the Harvest Festival celebrationwith great gusto. Traditional games, art forms, music, dance andfestival cuisine were some of the highlights of the event. Parentsenjoyed revisiting their good old childhood days participating invarious activities organized by the students as well as a gastronomictour of the festival cuisine across the country.
BUTTERFLY WALK -GRADE VI (8-1-25)
Students of Grade VI accompanied Mr. Pristine on a walk around CRT post which he initiated a discussion on impacts of urbanization on the butterfly population.
CBSE - CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME (3-1-25)
Capacity Building Programme on Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices was conducted at TVSA by CBSE CoE, Chennai. Teachers of six different schools in Hosur also participated.
SPICMACAY WORKSHOP
GRADE VI TO IX 27.12.24 - 29.12.24 Seventeen students from Grade VI to IX participated in a three day SPICMACAY workshop held at MS Dhoni Global School, Hosur. Students engaged in learning about traditional art forms from renowned artists and also attended their concerts. They learnt Mohiniattam, Vallikummi, Therukoothu, Tholpavai koothu, Temple Mural Painting and Cherial mask making and showcased the skills aquired in a presentation on the final day.
KALAKRITI - ART MELA
The vibrant art festival that showcased (21-12-2024) the creativity of students was a mega event with a foot fall of more than thousand people including parents, alumni, guests and students from different schools in Hosur.

Colour, paper and creativity could be seen all around the campus as students across grades engaged in different art activities through a daylong workshop ahead of the Art Mela.

ROSHAN'S ART WORKSHOP FOR GRADES- 7 &8
Students of Grades VII and VIII will embark on a three-day art workshop titled "Nature is Design," facilitated by Mr. Roshan Sahi, from October 18th to 20th, 2024. During this workshop, students will explore botanical art and printmaking techniques, to gain a multifaceted understanding of art’s relationship with the natural world.
